Duties
- Ministry Chair: Organizes and leads drama ministry by working with worship director, Pastoral staff, drama coordinators, writers, researchers to plan drama needs including Sunday worship drama, full-length plays, etc.
- Drama Coordinators: Responsible for assigned dramas (Sunday services, teen and youth drama, summer musicals). Work to coordinate director/actor schedules, secure needed props, sets, music, arrange technical needs.
- Actors: Perform selected dramas
- Writers: Work with ministry chair, worship director, and pastoral staff to write original dramas based on selected themes.
- Researchers: Work with ministry chair, worship director, and pastoral staff to find and select published dramas based on selected themes.
Skills
- Ministry Chair and Drama Coordinators: Strong organizational/ communication skills, theater experience
- Director: Theater directing experience
- Actors: Acting experience
- Writers: Drama writing experience
- Researchers: Good research and evaluation skills
