Our Lord calls us to reach to all people with the touch of His merciful love, and that happens right in the shadow of Saint Paul’s steeple. There are many ways to become a part of Saint Paul’s local mission.
The Church Has Left The Building
A Saint Paul-wide effort, focused over Labor Day weekend, to bring Christ’s compassion to our local communities through a variety of service projects from yard work for the elderly to care packets for at risk children.
Each year one of the projects we do to help meet the needs of people in our community is to provide school backpacks and toiletry items. Please see our donation display in the church lobby to see how you can help be a part of providing for the needs of others! You can also sign up to help with various projects during the month of August, especially our big day of service, Sunday, August 31.
Historically Saint Paul has donated food to Chicago Uptown Ministry , concentrating on the holiday season and the Summer. As the economy has deteriorated in the last few years , we have expanded our donations to Ceda Northwest, The Village of Mt. Prospect food pantry and right here at Saint Paul, as well as Chicago Uptown Ministry. The needs are ongoing. Anything that our congregants can donate will be greatly appreciated!
Saint Paul and our Mission Ministry has been a supporter of PADS in the northwest suburbs for more than seven years. PADS provides a safe place and meals for the homeless in our area. Our commitment is to assist PADS sites in Mt. Prospect at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, with food preparation and serving. Please contact the Church office for more info or visit the PADS website:
