Lego League is a robotics extra curricular program for students in 4th -8th grades. Students work in teams of 2-10 members and work on problem-solving science and technology themed tasks with the goal of improving our world. Students learn how to build robots, write computer programs, conduct research, and use creative problem-solving to fulfill missions as set forth by the Lego League international competition. Teams meet outside of school one to two times per week from September to December when students participate in the regional competition. Teams may qualify to participate in the state tournament in January.
The theme for the 2016 – 2017 season is called Animal Allies and is all about how animals help humans. Teams will research different animal problems and come up with innovative ways to solve them. Get ready for a whole new class – FLL World Class!
Lego season is under way! We will be working hard to build our robots and spending time problem solving to figure out how to accomplish the missions.
