Volleyball season officially came to an end at the Lutheran State Volleyball Championships held Nov. 3-5th in Springfield, IL. With the help of a grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, we were able to assemble new first aid packs with supplies. Each classroom has a pack for use inside or on the go at recess and field trips. We are thankful to Thrivent for their generosity and to the girls for their help.
Helping Hands First and Second grade students had a day of giving back. They worked hard to make tie blankets for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. It was a blessing to see the joy and dedication the children put into making these blankets!

On Monday, December 5, many students participated in our first "Hour of Code" event during Computer Science Education Week. Students had time to use coding programs, work with robots, and were encouraged to embrace challenges while learning new computer skills.
