This year, we embarked on an all-school project! All classrooms read the book “Only One You” by Linda Kranz. We discussed how each one of us is unique, and how each individually contributes to our classroom, our community and our world. In addition, we connected these thoughts to our role as a Christians and how God gives each of us unique talents and abilities to use for His glory.
After the book discussion, each student designed and painted a rock to be part of an art installation on-site. This PreK through 8th Grade project is now on permanent display, inset into the cement landing in front of the school sign (at the corner of School Street and Busse Avenue). Feel free to check it out, and enjoy!
