Saint Paul Lutheran Church and School loves kids and wants kids to know that God loves them. We do events and regular programs that help all kinds of families learn about God, have fun with one another, and teach about serving those in need. We strive to provide resources and training to help families put Christ first in their homes and lives.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me.” (Matthew 19:14)
Saint Paul’s Family Ministry hosts a number of events for all kinds of families throughout the year. Here are just a few of the opportunities offered.
Crosswalk is our updated Sunday morning training for students ages 3 through grade 5. Here are a few of the changes we will be making this year.
On Sundays September thru May from 9:05 to 9:50 am we’ll meet for our journey in the school building. We’ll gather with our “campfire,” having all “hikers” meet in the gym to enjoy skits that introduce the lesson of the day, music, and prayer time.
Our Trail guides (previously called Sunday School teachers) will lead kids in grade level teams for small group time exploring the Bible stories in more detail. Our hikers will be picked up from their small group rooms at 9:50 am.
Once a month, we’ll have special “SPICE Sunday” when all kids will stay in the gym for more games, crafts, music, projects. Each month is different so that we can look forward to seeing what is going to happen on that!
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School happens each June at Saint Paul. We meet mornings during the third week of June, and explore God’s great love for us, using music, games, crafts and even the snacks to reinforce the daily Bible story. We have great volunteers of all ages who help us have our adventure! There is a suggested donation for Vacation Bible School to help cover the costs. Registration and Volunteer information is available in March, and closes May 15. We love guests and visitors! Extended Care is available VBS Extended Care
