The most important thing that happens each week centers on the time our church family gathers in the presence of Christ in worship. As you will see below that time together does not happen without the teamwork of many different people serving in many different ways…

Altar Guild- Prepare the Altar for all worship services. Set up for baptisms and communion. Training is available. Commitment to a rotating schedule. Usual time frame is one month, four times per year.

Bulletin Assembly- The weekly worship folder is printed and assembled on Friday mornings at 9:00 am in our church office. Estimated time is 1-2 hours each Friday.

Children’s Release Time- The new 10:45am Family Praise service features a release time for children at the very end of the service during the sermon allowing parents to better focus on the message. If you have a heart for children consider serving in the rotation of this ministry.

Communion Assistants-Help the Pastors distribute the Lord’s Supper to the congregation. Rotating schedule, training provided.

Data Entry- Entering church attendance cards filled out by members and guests. Approximate time is 2-3 hours per week. Connection ministry is looking for data entry volunteers to enter service areas of congregation members.

Drama Ministry- It’s about IMPACT! Help enhance worship by performing and sharing the message through drama.

Money Counters- Group of individuals who serve by counting the offerings received in worship. Meets every Monday morning and also needs substitutes.

Nursery Aides- Volunteers are needed to staff the church nursery during service times, congregation meetings and Assimilation hosted FBI classes.

Power Point/Video Team- This new ministry is in the process of being formed for the purposes of augmenting the weekend worship experiences.

Sound/Technology Ministry- Operates and maintains sophisticated audio, visual and computer technology. Commitment consists of attending training sessions, practice sessions, worship choir night attendance and a rotating schedule for the services. Opportunities will grow with new facility. Adults and mature young adults.

Ushers- Make people feel comfortable at all of our services. Commit to the rotation schedules. A great way for whole families to serve together.

Lectors-Reading Scripture lessons during worship services.
