Rev. Kris Whitby

Senior Pastor
Email Pastor Kris

I joined our Saint Paul team in the fall of 2003, starting with a ministry focus on adult discipleship. It is my honor to bring the touch of Christ’s love to others, leading them deeper into God’s Word and strengthening their walk with Jesus through that Word. It is also been my honor to assist our congregation in our outreach to others, both locally and globally, through our Church Has Left the Building outreach as well as serving on several short-term mission teams. Personally, our Lord has blessed me with my wonderful wife, Marguerita, and our two awesome children, Bradley and Kathryn, who are students at Prospect High School. In my free time, I enjoy reading, the theater and improv comedy, and spending time with my family.

“But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.  For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;'” Isaiah 43:1-3

Pastor Bo enjoys frisbee, golf, Denver Bronco football, hiking, snowboarding, guitar playing, and BBQs. He still doesn’t know if he likes the Sox or the Cubs better.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come. Luke 4:18-19

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
