OUR Preschool

Saint Paul offers you and your family a warm, safe, nurturing, and structured environment for your preschool aged children in a way that is personalized for them and easy for you – a neighborhood school that offers flexible days, flexible hours, and a loving staff that will prepare your child for their future education – all with the care of Jesus’ love.

Our Preschool recognizes the need for providing an atmosphere in which we foster spiritual, social, physical, and mental growth in your young child. Knowing that children learn by being active, curious, confident, and by having divergent thinking, we provide many opportunities for varied learning experiences appropriate to the developmental level of young children. This learning will occur through daily activities, which include play, conversation, books, audio-visual materials, a wide variety of hands-on experiences, and incidental happenings.

Enjoying Our Days in Pre-Kindergarten

Walk through our pre-kindergarten doors and we’ll welcome you into an environment where laughter, songs, and smiles are plentiful. Based on Early Childhood Standards set by the State of Illinois, our program educates and encourages Saint Paul’s youngest children to learn and grow in a faith based, play based environment.

See children encouraged to explore art materials, math manipulatives, discovery tools and dramatic play props on a daily basis.
Listen to teachers lead children in dancing, singing, story time, and Jesus time activities.
Follow us to the school gymnasium to participate in a variety of physical activities that encourage large motor growth.

Sit down with us for conversations around the tables as we enjoy lunch times and healthy snacks. Participate in special events like field trips, musical programs, themed dramatic play centers, and visitors from our community.
